Zakia Hossain is a concerned and caring internist based in Woodside and Jamaica, NY. Dr. Hossain attended Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in Bangladesh, where she received her medical degree. Dr. Hossain has her own practice and is affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital Center, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Kings County Hospital Center, Queens Hospital Center, and Flushing Hospital Medical Center in NY.
Dr. Hossain is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Bangladesh Medical Association of North America. She speaks English, Hindi, Urdu, and Bengali fluently, which makes her widely accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
During her consultations, Dr. Hossain fully explains patients’ conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan. She conducts her appointments with the personalized care and attention that she would expect for her own family.
